The entire country will be able to watch the Week 3 preseason matchup between the Denver Broncos and the St. Louis Rams. This will be an 8pm ET primetime matchup on CBS kicking off this Saturday August 24th.

Despite the fact that the Broncos got beat by 30 points by the Seattle Seahawks last week, that hasn’t curtailed the lofty expectations that many expect out of Denver this season. That is of course led by quarterback Peyton Manning.
Against the Rams this week, expect Manning to see his most snaps taken yet, as the last tune up before opening night when Denver faces the defending Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens on Thursday, September 5th.
Denver still hasn’t run the ball effectively this season accumulating just 76 yards against the Seahawks. This is an area that will need to be improved to bring more balance to the offense.
For St. Louis, this is a season with hopes of contending for the NFC West, despite San Francisco and Seattle being highly favored as the top-two teams in the division. The Rams find themselves under the radar, but feel pretty good about the unit they have put together.
St. Louis hasn’t won a preseason game yet, but there are certainly some things for fans to get excited about. The first team should be out there for the majority of the game, which will be a good test to go up against the Super Bowl preseason favorites.
