Seattle went to Indianapolis in Week 5 and were outplayed by Andrew Luck and the Colts. Seattle has certainly shown that they are vulnerable on the road and that was proven in Week 5. But this matchup with Tennessee is at home. And while no team is unbeatable, the Seahawks are about as close as it get when they are playing on their home field.
That presents a huge challenge for the Titans this week. Tennessee dropped to Kansas City in Week 5 and will try to pull off the big upset in Week 6 to avoid a second-straight loss. It won’t be easy, that’s for sure.
Jake Locker is still not going to be on the field for Tennessee, which means that backup Ryan Fitzpatrick will get the start once again. The task at hand is going to be a hard one, with the Seattle secondary arguably the best in the NFL.
But the Chiefs defense that Fitzpatrick faced last week is every bit as good as the Seahawks so far this season. The quarterback did struggle though, tossing two interceptions which proved to be critical in the 26-17 loss.
In a game like this on the road, protecting the ball will be very, very important. Tennessee had two interceptions and lost one fumble last week. That is something that can’t take place if they hope to pull off the win here as big underdogs.
